Cosmology

Cosmology is the branch of astronomy in which it deals with the general structure and evolution of the universe.
You might have seen the keyword cosmo in cosmology. Cosmo- : a combining form meaning “world,” “universe,” used in the formation of compound words. Logy sounds like it means the study of cosmos.

The etymology: New Latin cosmologia, from Greek kosmos + New Latin -logia -logy
Date it was invented/made:  circa 1656

I wonder what circa means... I'll look it up. A sec... please.
Circa : about: (used esp. in) approximate dates
Ok, we kind of learned about origin, and history.
Fun Fact: Scientist's scientific name for lion is leo. (So, it was like we were learning complicated meanings too.)
 Ok, got to go!
