A constituent is a person who takes the place of the main person in any place like at school, we have a principal. So, for instance the principal leaves the school, then he/she wants someone to take his/her place. He needs to find a constituent. That is a person that the principal authorizes his/her to take his/her place. So, the new principal that the previous principal authorizes would be a constituent. But a constituent isn't a person that nobody authorizes. Remember that! Or else you'll get mixed up!
