Convention

A covention is kind of like a treaty. A treaty is a formal agreement between two or more states or countries in reference to peace, alliance, commerce, or other international relations. Ok. So, if Africa and America sign a convention, and in that treaty it says that America will give peace to Africa or will not make Africans, slaves, they have to agree with that.
