Book report Apr '10 - My Board Game

SR's Hodge Podge

Number of Players

Two

Game Board Setup

1 Main Board
8 maze board pieces
8 Action Point Cards (APCs) (4 each)
2 Action Figures
6 Peanut butter cups

1.Pick a random player.
2.Shuffle the 8 boards and arrange it in 2 columns and 4 rows.
3.Place the peanut butter cups in the squares marked with energy.
4.Place the Action Figures on the start (car) square on the main board on either side.

You are all set to start!

How to play

1.Each player has to arrange the action card in the ascending order
2.During the first turn, the player can only play 2 AP
3.Each AP lets the player make one action. The actions can be moving a square, rotating the quadrant 90 degrees more than once, opening the door or closing the door
4.If the player uses AP 2, then flip the 2 APCs upside down.
5. The next player has to play equal or greater by 1 AP.
6. If a player ends up on an energy square and there is a peanut butter cup which the player can save it for traps.
7. If a player ends up on a trap have to loose a turn. But, if the player has a peanut butter cup, can use it to get out of the trap and move to the next square.
8.If a player ends up on a rotation gear, the player can rotate that quadrant or the same colored quadrant clockwise 90 degrees one time. If the player wants to rotate more than once, each 90 degrees costs an AP. Eg., of the player wants to rotate it 180 degrees (additoinal 90 degrees), it costs one AP. Tips: This helps to rearrange the maze which might be helpful to the player and might be a blocker to the opponent.
9. The game ends when the player reaches the opponent's starting point.

Rules
1.Player cannot move diagonally or backwards. If the player ends up in a dead-end, has to start over
2.Used peanut butter cups are removed from the board
