Table Tennis history

Do you know where Table Tennis was born? China? Korea? India? Japan? These are the ideas popped up in mind. But, were any of them right? Nope. Britain. The British Officers used to play with cigar boxes as a paddle and a bottle cork for the ball. After the British the whole Europe to know of it. Also, because India was a British colony at the time, India also started playing. Late on, China came to know of it and China's governor adopted and payed money for people to play. In China, about a million were players that just played for fun and 300,000 that were full- time players meaning that's what they did as their job. Sadly, although India knew this game none ever made it to the finals. Countries like China for example: Japan and a few European countries have made it. Ok, bye!
