Deter

Deter means to be... frightened or discouraged. No one was deterred enough to be tricked into weird threats of course. If I said, a squid that talks is going to call the police, of course you wouldn't believe that unless you were a little kid. One weird thing is that deter is pronounced like how you would pronounce detour and I thought it was pronounced how it was spelled. Anyway, bye!
