Elizabeth was talking to Hatshepsut so much that sometimes Hatshepsut slept. After many days only did Hatshepsut's mother ask,"Have you come with your parents?" Then, she saw a feeling of sorrow surge up them and wondered why. As she quietly wept, Elizabeth told her,"We are orphans." Their pen pal's mother felt shocked. So, she brought up a different subject. "Do you want to play with Hatshepsut?" she asked. "Sure." Then, H's mother said,"Wait. I need to talk with my daughter."
