Clamorous

Are you clamorous? It doesn't have to be always clamorous in a birthday party. ( Well, maybe it does have to.)
But tell me, ARE you clamorous? My little brother is clamorous. I'm not clamorous. Unless my   little brlother bothers me. Ok. Bye! I just can't wait to go to school. My friend is coming today.

Claimant

I don't  know how to write this like a story. But claimant is the perso who claims something first. I wouldn't want to make a story of  this because it would take a long time. To me it would. Chiropractor

So, a chiropractor is a doctor who massages someone if they have some back pain or an injury on their back.
Usually it's kind of like when you twist a nerve, they massage you. So, that you feel better. Have YOU been a chiropractor? I have. I've massaged my mom when she got back pain. But that's not exactly a chiropractor because is a chiropractor is a kind of a doctor.

Charade

Have you ever played charade at school? I have. But only one time. It was in Summer School. It was Ok. You had to pick a card out  of some pictionary cards. In that card, you had to pick a word say if it's an action or object and act it out. The other people have to guess what they're acting out. The trick is for everyone to be able to guess easily. They have 2 minutes to act it out and the audience to be able to guess easily. You can play this anywhere with anyone. Thank you and Bye.

Chaotic

Do you know what chaotic means? If you don't, look here, chaotic is a not a bad word. It means the effect of confusion. So, of course if a teacher says it's a bad word. Obviously, they don't know the meaning of it. Or else they wouldn't have said it was a bad word unless.... They think it sounds like a bad word. It's not though. It means confusion. But, I don't only blame the teachers I blame you guys too because......you think it means something else and you just put it in the wrong place. The end!

Carnage

This is a very yucky and gross thing. Carnage is animal or human flesh. (Slaughter.) When I saw the meaning and the sentence examples, I felt weird. You wouldn't want to read it. You'll feel like you're about to throw up. It just makes your tummy feel weird because that's where the carnage is. Ok, you might feel a little weird already. I'll stop! Bleargh! Bye!

Caress

Has the breeze of ocean wind ever caressed you. Wouldn't the breeze gently touch you? But when a bully comes up and starts fighting it's biff!biff!biff! you're wounded. Everyone should be treated equally. However, I know bullies don't listen. Sometimes if they get in detention they don't still listen. Be careful about bullies and treat everyone how the wind treats you. (But not to the bullies.)

Canvass

 Hey, you there! You know what canvassing is? Canvassing is when you convince someone that you or your product is the best. You if your the president and you want somebody to vote for you, you convince them that you're the best and tell great things about yourself. If it's a product that you made, you probably go to a company and say, "Look at my creation here!" Then you say that you want them to make more of these.

Candelabra

You know what?
Candelabra means a branched candlestick. The keyword would've been candle. But, the word in the beginning is candel and not candle. So, it isn't very easy to know the meaning without finding out the meaning. You might think it's a part of your brain or something at first. That's what I thought too. Bye!

Calligraphy

Guess what calligraphy is. It's an artistic handwriting. It may be like cursive. You might have heard the word calligraphy been used around cursive. On the writing book, it might say calligraphy writing book or something
like that. Do you know cursive?I do! I passed the test in 3rd grade over here. Now I'm going to 5th. But in Summer School I'm considered still as a Fourth Grader.

Bullish

Have you ever acted strong at your school? Well, don't because someone might try to outsmart you. They might say, " Oh yeah well you think you are strong?" Then they might make you carry a very heavy rock, or make you uproot a tree and hold it for a long time. So please dont act bullish in your school. Plus you'll get in trouble for holding trees and holding them for a long time.

Bullion

Do you consider gold and silver as a bullion? If you do, that's good. For one reason, gold and silver IS heavy metal. But for one reason, it's not. For one reason, because it doesn't attract like metal does. Why not?
There must be something scientific behind that. I'm not sure what it is.  But when you grow up if you become a scientist you can probably find it out.Ok, bye!




                                                                 

Bugbear

Mia to a new girl: Ya know our school used to be haunted by many ghosts. There are still some in our school.
Jane: Oh really, I'm scared of this place. I'm sure there are more bugbears in other places.
Me: I don't think so.
Mia: Yes, there are.
Stephany: Oh my god I just saw a shadow. It messed up everything in Mrs. Bradford's class. It wasn't even Mrs. Bradford in there.
Francis: Oh no, here comes Mrs. Bradford. I'm sure she'll be shell-shocked.
Me: Ugh! It's not a bugbear!
Narrator: Jane runs away. She had come from another school. Just for the Summer here. I didn't believe what they said. As for Mia, Stephany, and Francis, I'm sure they were laughing behind our backs.

Breach

What's wrong with the earthquake in San Francisco? Why is it so important? It happened just like other earthquakes do. Why have people written many stories about it? Well, because in 1906 that earthquake set fire.
So, it was very damaging. It breached the whole area of San Francisco. You might know another one of those earthquakes in San Francisco. I don't know which year. Where in the Golden Gate Bridge people were driving on it and it suddenly jolted. Some people died. They fell into the water. Well, now they built the Golden Gate Bridge Earthquake Proof. Bye- Bye!

Bovine

  This is weird. Bovine sounds beauuuuuuuuuuuutiful! But you know what it is? A cow or an ox. A cow that too.
Wouldn't it be funny for it to be a beautiful word and a fat animal. Ok got to hit the road.

Has the ground ever been a bog? Well if it has, then it means it would've rained overnight. (If it was in the morning that you were walking and it was spongy on the ground.) Do you like it to be like that? Well, I do!

Have you ever got bogged down by overwork? Well, if you have, either tell your adults... Or tell yourself that you shouldn't be tired by having just a little more work to do. Wendy: Have you always been grim your life?
Megan: I'm not a GRIM REAPER!
Wendy: If you know what  bleak means then you'll know what I'm talking about.
Megan: Well, I know what you're talking about and you're saying I'm a grim reaper.
Wendy: Noooooooo! Grim, Bleak, and Depressing mean the same thing-
Megan:Yeah! and they all mean grim reaper. Don't they? Teacher! She's calling me names!
Teacher: What did you call her Wendy?!
Wendy: Teacher, this is what I said, "Have you always been grim in your life?" Then , she started saying,that I called her a Grim Reaper.
Teacher: Ok, I understand now. You may go Wendy, and play. Megan.
Megan: Yes, teacher.
Teacher: Grim, Bleak, and Depressing mean the same thing. Ok? Depressing means very sad all the time. So, when she said you were grim, she meant that you were sad and never played with anyone that much. You owe her an apology. Ok?
Megan: Ok.

Have you told a lie? Well, if you have, then what if you told a blatant lies. Blatant means obvious. So, if you told a lie and your mom or dad knew you were lying, you would be in big,big, trouble. Biosphere-Word of the Day August 3,2009

Hi Readers,

Do you know what biosphere means? Well, anyway. Let me  ask you a question. Would you be able to live in Antartica or Alasksa after living in California or in the scorching heat of India. Even some people live in the desert. Would you agree with me if I said Antartica is not a biosphere? It is certainly not a place to live! Biosphere means a surface you can live on where life can exist.
