Disdain

Disdain means to despise someon in the lower rank than you. Rank meaning like cast. On the highest rank would be probably a wealthy king that is selfish. It's possible that in the lower cast there could be beggar or sage. So, if that wealthy, selfish , king despised the beggars and sages, that would be disdaining them. We would probably be in the middle rank. Even though we wouldn't be in the lowest cast of all, that wealthy, selfish, king could disdain us. That's because we still are in the lower rank than that king. Ok, bye! See you next time!

Discretion

When you're given the chance to discreet, you are given the chance to decide responsibly. One example is you get to be the judge of yourself and others.
Activity: Write a poem or story . If the teacher gave you the chance to discreet for one day, what would you do?
You can do this activity on the comments you post on my blog. i will also do this activity when I have time, and post it.  I hope these activities will be fun to do. Ok, bye! Hope you have fun!

Disconcert

Disconcert means to be embarrassed. Have YOU ever been disconcerted? One of the people in my class in fourth grade, (I'm in 5th now) like I said  in one of my posts, he was disconcerted. It's a scavenger hunt for you. You need to look through my posts and remember, disconcert means to be embarrassed.  If you find it, what you'll get is happiness in your heart. It's your prize!
Ok, bye! Have fun with the scavenger hunt!

Diplomatically

Even though today's Word of the Day is diplomatically, I'm going to use diplomat. Diplomat means to reproduce the exact original. A copy machine is a little bit diplomat. Copy machines don't print the exact. The writing is not as dark as the original copy. If the original is colorful, the copy will be black and white. But, it's possible for cells to make a copy of itself. An exact copy. So, I think cells are diplomat. Ok, bye!

Diminution

Diminution is to decrease by name, size, or quantity. Name meaning you aren't an important part of history anymore or an important part of  life or the world. Of course, by size, you know things shrink sometimes. But, not people. (At least that's what I think.) Quantity is how much. As you should know since you were little. In my class, there are only 16 students. First, we had 21 in the beginning of the 4th grade school year. Then , one left in the middle of the school year. In the summer, the quantity diminished to 16 because 4 people left. Ok, bye! It's getting hard to type because my cursor suddenly disappeared.

Dillydally

You can't dillydally when you have a plane to catch to Florida or back. Well, that's what we didn't do. We didn't DILLYDALLY! Sometimes right when we sat down, it would be time to go to the plane. So no dillydallying or asking for food when we were in the airport. We'd eat in the airplane. That mostly was when we were going to Florida. Ok ,bye! I don't have much to say about this word.

Diligence

Guess what diligence means.
Well, it means effort, to work hard and get to your goal. You have to put effort on the work that you do (I have to also :-D) to get to the goal. That's what everybody's  parents would've done to have a great job like now. But once in office, you don't sit back and relax. You still have to do work to get payed and not fired. Anyway, bye! I'm getting late for school!
