Diffuse
Everybody must know about the Haiti earthquake. I've already created a post about it too. The results of the earthquake were a diffuse report from the scene of the earthquake. I do really want to help out. My dad is going to donate money. My school is going to have a bake sale and raise money to give to orphans in Haiti that lost their parents int he earthquake. I feel really bad and really badly want to help but I can't go there. We don't even know if the company that donates money are that reliable. Well, hope they recover. Bye!

Diffidence
The word diffidence has a root word, diffident. So, that is the word we are going to talk about today. Diffident means shy or sometimes fearful. People may be very diffident if they go to a new school like me. Some people may be diffident when they meet new people. I get diffident when I'm on stage unless I'm with a group.Ok, bye!

Dew Point
Dew point is the temperature that the water vapor begins or will begin to condense.
I guess the temperature is either going high or low. Either way it's raining tons in Fremont. I wonder how other cities, states, and countries are doing. While I was doing this at my house I heard thunder a few minutes ago. So, ther might've been lightning because lightning comes before thunder. Ok, be prepared in case of a black out. Otherwise, bye!

Devastate
Some days ago, something devastating happened. In Haiti, an earthquake shook up the whole country. Many people were still under rubble yesterday. Many got injured. The head of the Roman Catholic Church in Haiti was killed. Thirty-six United Nations workers were killed; almost 200
more were missing or trapped in their collapsed headquarters.
Missionaries, students, doctors and others are missing or out of
contact. It was a very sad story. I wish I could help them. Below is an article which is not finished though.

Deterrent
Deterrent means to stop something for a reason. For example, if you did something bad, you might be afraid that you'd get in trouble. So, you'd stop it. You would
deterrent it. On the left is a funny picture of a cat. It's acting like it's a burglar. On the right, is a cartoon of a burglar with a sack. So, in which picture would a police need to put the burglar in jail to deterrent the burglary? This is an easy question. You can answer in commenting me.

Deteriorate
I learnt that deteriorate can also mean impair. Impair means: to damage or make worse by or as if by diminishing in some material respect. In other words, Injure. For example, injure is not the type of injure you know though. It means to get sick by overwork or get feverish. For instance, if you exercise suddenly, when you haven't before, your body is not used to it and your legs just might hurt. That's just one meaning for deteriorate. Remember that! Bye!
